​With this license, a pre-set number of users have simultaneous access to the software. For example, a one-seat floating-license allows one person at a time to run the software. The “floating” license is hosted on one computer in your workgroup, and it manages how licenses are “checked out” for users when needed (and available) and “checked in” when done. (All users need to be connected to a common network by hard-wired ethernet or local Wi-Fi).

Our Chief Technical Officer, Adam Kaplan, had the pleasure of showcasing our 3D scanning compatibility and capabilities to an audience of shipyards around the world. He explained how in-situ propeller inspection can accelerate drydock schedules, demonstrating how propeller geometry can be accurately captured without the removal of the propeller.  This presentation highlighted how handheld 3D scanners can be used along with TrueProp and the Virtual Plugin.
